Electric Razor Scooters - Power at a Price

!±8± Electric Razor Scooters - Power at a Price

The electric razor scooter has been around for a while now, they remain very popular, but there are concerns by many owners who aren't too sure of the value. There are many reviews of the product by customers who have one, and the main concern of many customers of the razor electric scooter models is poor performance based on their expectations of what they think a scooter is.

The razor e series 100, 200, 300, are speed rated (from 10 to 15mph) but never stated as a weight to speed ratio. But the heavier the load, the slower the speed and the more power will be used. That means more charging time and less use. These scooters are really meant for children, who are lighter in weight. Battery power just isn't enough to compensate for heavier loads and give the same performance.

The razor electrics are a toy and should not be considered in any other way, they were never designed as a transportation scooter. The batteries fit under the running board, long and slim and not to be in the way of the rider, light weight and power restrictions by design.

The e models are typically rated at 45 minutes which most people thought was very low. This comes back to the design of the scooter. The razor electric scooters as already stated are designed as a toy, the batteries are small and are not capable of much more power output.

Present battery technology is limited as to how much power you can get. The razor scooter is a lightweight compact scooter. Batteries are heavy and to power the razor scooter for more output would mean losing the compactness, easy fold and store features that parents and owners love. The electric razor scooter delivers what it is designed to do and no more.

So the question remains are the razor electric scooters worth the money? The answer is yes IF you keep things in perspective. The Razor electric scooters are designed for children to give some fun and mobility and they deliver all of that.

Want the rush of riding a motorcycle but aren't quite ready for the full throttle experience of jumping on a "hog"? For adults and teens alike, Razor electric motorcycles and electric dirt bikes offer riders the thrill of the motorcycle riding experience while still being an eco-friendly as well as safe alternative to riding a full-powered motorcycle. Razor electric motorcycles are a fantastic learning opportunity for young riders to step up to a full sized cycle gradually and at their own pace - while still having plenty of fun. Razor electric motorcycles are also an excellent value starting at far less than the noisy, scaled-down versions of gasoline-powered bikes.

The Razor Pocket Rocket Mini is a great way for young riders to learn the handling of a motorcycle before they graduate to the big leagues. The Razor Pocket Rocket Mini features a slick street bike design with a smooth ride thanks to large 10" pneumatic tires. Unlike the full-sized bikes, it's eco friendly, with a long battery life and only requires 8 hours of charging time. Steel frame construction makes it super durable while the padded racing seat keeps the rider comfortable. The twist-grip throttle allows for acceleration control. It's recommended for ages 12 to adulthood. With the high torque and variable speed, chain-driven motor, it's not only super quiet but it has enough power to carry riders up to 170 lbs. Assembly is easy and minimal and the bike comes in blue with awesome decals.

Winner of the Toys "R" Us Joy List and featured in Sports Illustrated for Kids, the Razor Dirt Rocket MX350 Miniature Electric Motocross Bike is an awesome experience that really lets you get in the dirt and have fun! It's a great bike for ages 14 and up and can carry up to 140 lbs. Beyond its power, though, the MX350 also looks cool with real race inspired body design.

The Razor MX500 Dirt Rocket High Performance Electric Motocross Bike is a greater level of performance for the Razor Dirt Rockets. Building on the features of the Razor MX350, this bike is great for ages 14 and up. It's a more serious ride with thicker 14" and 16" pneumatic tires for excellent power transfer. Dual suspension and riser handlebars make for a smooth ride. The Razor MX500 can carry riders weighing up to 175 lbs at speeds up to 15 mph, going 10 miles on a single charge.

Finally, the RAZOR MX650 DIRT ROCKET is the ultimate in power and fun for the most serious of riders aged 16 and older. Its authentic dirt bike frame geometry makes it as close to the real thing as you can get. Conquer hills and off road conditions like they're flat surfaces with this powerful bike which can reach speeds up to 17 mph. Even with so much power, the MX650 is still incredibly quiet.
